Beautiful open color Pyrope from a closed location in Tanzania. I'm fortunate to be able to offer these. Once they are gone I can not replace. Enjoy!

Pyrope is a founding member of the garnet group that also includes Almandine and Spessartine. Various mixtures of these garnets are responsible for producing Rhodolite, Malaya, Umbalite and Umba Garnets to name a few.
