These new umbalite garnets began appearing in Arusha, Tanzania, quickly drawing attention for their striking similarity to the renowned Mahenge Garnets. They're already hailed as a significant addition to gemstone discoveries. As expected, prices surged at the source as brokers competed for them. We were fortunate to be there early and purchased aggressively—and we’re grateful we did, as we’ve been told the deposit has already been depleted.
